Infrastructure
A RACK YOU CAN ACTUALLY SERVICE.
Every camera, access point, and AV system in the building lands somewhere. Whether that somewhere is an organized rack or a shelf of tangled equipment determines how fast anything can be fixed for the next twenty years. We build and clean up equipment racks, network closets, and IDF/MDF rooms.
New builds get racks designed for the equipment going in them — sized right, ventilated, on a UPS, with cable management that stays manageable as things get added. Existing closets get assessed honestly: sometimes it’s a cleanup, sometimes it’s a rebuild.
Everything gets labeled and documented. When your IT provider — or our techs — open the rack in three years, they’ll know what every cable does without tracing it.
HOW WE APPROACH THIS
We inventory what’s in the rack today and what’s coming in the next few years, then design for both. Patch panels get terminated and labeled, power gets protected, and airflow gets considered before equipment goes in. We photograph and document the final state so the rack stays serviceable.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Equipment Racks & Network Closets — FAQ
Can you clean up our existing network closet?
+
Yes. We assess it honestly — sometimes it's a cleanup, sometimes a rebuild — then re-terminate, label, and organize so it's serviceable.
Do you put equipment on backup power?
+
Yes. Racks go on a UPS so a power blip does not take down cameras, network, and access control, and we plan airflow so the gear stays cool.
Will my IT provider be able to work on it?
+
Yes. Everything gets labeled and documented, so anyone opening the rack in three years knows what every cable does without tracing it.
