For general contractors and builders
The low-voltage sub you can specify with confidence.
Brink Design handles security, networking, structured cabling, access control, and AV as one scope on your project. We price from your plans, coordinate the rough-in, document the work, and support the owner after closeout. One sub instead of three, and one point of contact who shows up.
How we fit your project
We take the technology scope off your plate.
You already coordinate a dozen trades. The low-voltage package should not be the one that slows you down. We come in at the plan stage, price from the drawings, and schedule the rough-in around your framing and drywall dates. When the cabling, cameras, network, and AV all come from one sub, there is one number to call and one crew accountable for the result.
For custom homebuilders, that means a clean pre-wire and a system the owner actually understands at handoff. For commercial GCs, it means a documented, code-aware install that passes inspection and hands off with a full closeout package.
What it takes off your plate
- Chasing three separate low-voltage subs
- Guessing at device counts during the bid
- Re-opening walls for missed rough-in
- Owner questions after you have moved on
- Undocumented systems with no as-builts
Our scope on your job
From plans to owner handoff.
A defined scope at every phase, documented as we go, so your team and the owner always know what was installed and why.
Plan-stage design
System design and takeoffs from your drawings, with device counts and cabling runs mapped before the bid.
Structured cabling rough-in
Cat6, fiber, and low-voltage runs pulled on your schedule, coordinated with the other trades before close-up.
Trim and device install
Cameras, access points, panels, displays, and control gear mounted, terminated, and labeled after drywall and paint.
Commissioning and closeout
Every system tested and configured, with as-built documentation and a closeout package for the owner file.
Owner handoff and training
We walk the owner through the systems, hand off credentials and documentation, and stay available for support.
One accountable sub
Security, network, access control, and AV under one scope and one point of contact instead of three separate subs.
On your schedule
What each phase looks like on site.

Low-voltage runs pulled through open framing, before close-up.

Cameras and devices mounted and terminated after drywall and paint.

Labeled patch panels and configured equipment, documented for the owner file.
Proof
A commercial contractor, fully wired.

What builders ask us first.
Can you bid from our plans?
Yes. Send us the drawings and we will take off device counts, cabling runs, and equipment, then return a clear scope and system design you can fold into your bid. Pricing from plans at pre-construction is where we do our best coordination.
Do you coordinate with the electrical and other trades?
We plan the low-voltage rough-in around the electricians, framers, and drywall schedule so our runs land before close-up. We flag conduit, backing, and power needs early so nothing gets missed and no wall gets opened twice.
Do you travel to Gillette, Scottsbluff, and the rest of the region?
Yes. We work across western South Dakota, northeast Wyoming, and the Nebraska Panhandle, including Rapid City, Sturgis, Spearfish, Gillette, and Scottsbluff. Tell us where the project is and we will confirm scheduling.
How do you handle change orders?
Scope changes are documented in writing before we proceed. You get an updated scope and system design so the owner and your team see exactly what changed and why. No surprises at closeout.
What happens after the project closes out?
We support what we install. The owner gets as-built documentation, training, and a direct line for service. There is no long-term contract or mandatory subscription required to keep the system working.
