Coverage planning is easier and cheaper before the building exists. We work from the prints, place access points against how the space will actually be used rather than where a ceiling tile happens to be convenient, and get the cable in during rough-in. Buildings going up in this area often expand or repartition within a few years, so we plan a little capacity past the current floor plan. Adding an access point to a finished ceiling is a much worse afternoon than adding a drop at rough-in.

Box Elder is building quickly, and most of what we work on here either went up recently or is going up now. That is an advantage, since new construction lets infrastructure go in at the right stage rather than being retrofitted. Buildings tend to sit on open ground with little wind protection, which affects exterior equipment and mounting. Proximity to the base means facilities here often have security expectations that shape a design from the outset rather than being added later.

Box Elder sits next to Ellsworth Air Force Base and is growing fast on the strength of base-adjacent development.
